The Role:

The primary purpose of the casual/ part-time paralegal role is to provide support to the Legal team in various aspects of legal functions. The paralegal will gain hands-on experience in areas such as governance, compliance, risk, IP, policies, legal processes and day to day ‘business as usual’ legal administration. This position offers a valuable opportunity for professional growth and learning within a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

Key Deliverables/ Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day legal administrative tasks, such as developing and maintaining a contract database. 
• Collaborate with the Legal team to organise correct contract signing procedures.
• Support the Legal team in ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Support the Legal team on developing robust legal processes, documents and legal risk management.
• Assist in the training processes of 5B staff to ensure policy compliance.
• As required: support for Head of Investment in data room upkeep.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Law, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organisational abilities, comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced environment. .
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Interest in renewables, the energy transition and helping to change the way Australia and the world make energy.
